Bookings are now open for the next Davenham Players production - The Curious Savage, by John Patrick and directed by visiting director from Nantwich Players, Jerry Park. The play opens on Wednesday 10th April and runs until Saturday 13th April - doors open 7pm and curtain up at 7:30pm.

"The Curious Savage" is a gloriously funny fabulous comedy in the tradition of the 'gentle' comedy - suitable for all ages. The play starts after the principal character and widow Mrs Ethel Savage, has been left millions by her husband. She wants to make the best use of it as she sees it, despite of the efforts of her grown up stepchildren to get their hands on the money. Knowing that she has full control of her wealth, they commit her to an institution in the hope of getting the money away from her. But in this enchanting comedy Ethel Savage leads her grasping stepchildren on a merry dance with a little help from the strange band of misfits who live in the institution.
