MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM - AUDITION TODAY AT 2PM

Physical Folk are excited to announce that we will be holding an audition at the Players Theatre, Davenham for a community production of Shakespeare's - A Midsummer Night's Dream, on Sunday 17th February from 2pm to 6pm.

From the same creative team that brought you: COUPLES - a Shakespearean Cabaret, Playhouse Creatures and PantSomime.

A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed at Davenham Players' Theatre 22nd-25th May 2013. Rehearsals will start at the end of March and provide a great opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and work with a professional theatre company.

Everyone is welcome from the more experienced to the "I've always fancied giving that a go".

The Plot

"The course of true love never did run smooth."

4 lovers, 5 amateur players and a troop of fairies all create magic, mischief and mayhem in the forest. Helena loves Demetrius, Demetrius loves Hermia, Hermia loves Lysander and Lysander loves Hermia. The Fairy King and Queen have fallen out over a kidnapped Indian prince and the Mechanicals are rehearsing for a great play. Shakespeare's - A Midsummer Night's Dream, is a powerful comedy that leaves audiences laughing at the extremity of dreams, love and magic.
